Inventory Tracking by expiration date and batch #

Our clients need a way to track products by expiration date or batch number. This includes adding items to outbound shipments and selecting products based on specific expiration dates or batch numbers.

This ensures we’re shipping First-Expire, First-Out (FEFO) or keeping items from the same batch together in one shipment.

If implemented, a batch record ID would be required in the API endpoint to ensure proper traceability. It would allow us to accurately track items within their specific batches for seamless operations.
